The style is a hybrid practice and combines elements from both Fitness, Yoga and Pilates (hence the name). It focuses on combining the strength-building and core-toning principles of Pilates with the energizing, flowing movements of yoga — but with a higher level of intensity and vigor. A session is fast-faced with high intensity and endurance, and minimum rest between the poses in order to build up strength, build heat, and keep your heart rate elevated. However, the style still focuses on breathing and flexibility in order to uphold the mind-body connection. Power Yolates is a full-body, low-impact, toning, and mind-body workout.
