Why Yoga?

Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines movement, breathing, and meditation to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It originated in India thousands of years ago and has turned into many different styles today. Here at TAP, focus is on the individual client and that person’s wishes and needs.

Some clients wish to practice a form of yoga that is more active and intense whereas others seek a more meditative style of practice. The different styles can also be combined. Furthermore, yoga is a great addition to your workout schedule if you do high-intensity sports such as sprinting, weight-lifting or crossfit, as yoga helps with faster recovery, mobility, mental focus, and injury prevention.
